High-Five For Friday!

Well, it's finally Friday! It's been a busy week, but it ended on a fairly good note. I completed my housing and roommate paperwork to send to my counselor, I attended my first country concert and now I'm looking forward to a weekend of downtime with my cousin. I have some extremely random favorites this week but it's what I liked, so we're going with it.

Last night I went to see Dierks Bentley in concert in San Jose with one of my cousins. I love country music and he is a really talented artist. One of his greatest hits this summer is Drunk On a Plane which has an amazing beat and is the perfect summer anthem. Being my first concert, I felt it practically necessary to purchase a t-shirt. Am I right, people? This one was $30 which wasn't bad and it's a great quality so I think I'll get plenty of wear out of it! You know how I feel about oversized t-shirts...heaven on earth.

Pretty sure my mom purchased this a few weeks ago but I didn't open it until earlier this week, but boy is it nice! It's super refreshing and moisturizing (as it claims) and left my skin not only smelling amazing but feeling really soft and clean, which is what we're going for right? I do love a nice body wash.

I picked this up the other night when I was grocery shopping because it was right next to the Nutella but it was $1.50 cheaper. I'm such a cheapskate sometimes. It's okay. It tastes a tad different than the original, but I can't put my finger on how. It may just be that my taste buds are a little off lately because I burned the crap out of my tongue earlier this week and it's still raw on the end (not cool). If, like me, you are a die-hard Nutella fan, I would stick to the real stuff, even if it means splurging an extra dollar. But I still consider this a favorite because it still tastes GREAT, just different. If that makes sense.

"Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another 'what, you too? I thought I was the only one!'" -C.S. Lewis
I love this quote because it really applies to my life right now. Sometimes the most unexpected friendships really are the most rewarding.

My favorite link of the week.  I'm still debating whether or not I can commit to this challenge, but I really love the idea! What do you think?

What were some of your favorites this week? Do you have any thoughts on the Happy Days Project? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

All the best,

    1. Yes, that man sure knows how to put on a concert. My mother told me I can only wear the tee to bed, but I'd say it was pretty worth the $30 :)
